A FPS mixed with the universe of science fiction ?
Atomic Heart plunges you into the 1950s in a uchronistic Soviet Union. In this alternate reality, humanity already has internet, holograms and advanced domestic robots. However, the latter revolted against their creators.
Since then, they eliminate all the humans they meet. The problem is further compounded by mutant creatures from secret experiments.
In this hostile environment, you will play as Major P-3 in charge of investigating the factory where the uprising began. You’ll have to solve this mystery while battling out-of-control automatons. To complete the mission, you can rely on your arsenal and your power glove.

During CES 2023 (January 5-8), Nvidia unveiled its new graphics card, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The Russian studio then took the opportunity to present a new 4K trailer of Atomic Heart. Thanks to this power monster, the FPS was able to reveal its visual and technical assets in optimal conditions.
The new trailer showed impressive graphics and gameplay, accompanied by a punchy music. With the RTX 4070 Ti and DLSS 3, Nvidia and Mundfish have been wowing audiences, especially with their focus on ray-tracing. This technology makes it possible to offer an exceptional visual rendering.

A release date finally revealed !
Long before its content, Atomic Heart is best known for its tumultuous development. It was even in “development hell” for a while. Like the “production hell” in Hollywood, this term refers to the creative processes blocked for various reasons (artistic, technical, financial …).
The Russian studio had difficulties to find an international publisher.
Finally, the title was taken over by the French publisher Focus Entertainment in September 2022. Mundfish will nevertheless remain a publisher in the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet territories). Since this collaboration, the developer teams have regularly communicated the progress of the project.
The game is now Gold, according to a tweet from its creators.
In other words, the studio will respect the last announced release date. So gamers should not have any unpleasant surprises this time. As a reminder, the game was initially scheduled for the first half of 2022.
The release was then postponed to the fall, then towards the end of the year. In November, the developers set the global launch date for February 21, 2023.
Atomic Heart will be released on which platform ?
Atomic Heart was planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, when it was introduced in 2018. Since then, Microsoft and Sony have launched their new generations of consoles. On February 21, 2023, the title will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series (X and S). The game will also be available in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on day one. Moreover, unlike Destiny 2 Lightfall, you won’t have to wait for DLC. The Atomic Pass offers from the start, 4 DLC unlocking other areas, labs, enemies, weapons, bosses..
This pass is included in the Gold Edition and Premium Edition. These two variants of the game are already available for pre-order, just like the standard version. In addition to the content of the Gold Edition, the Premium version includes a digital artbook and additional cosmetics.
